It's cup fever this weekend for the club as four of the five sides look to reach the next round of the cup. The first team are in Senior Shield action, the thirds in the Emrys Hughes Trophy, whilst the Over 35s are in Quarter Final action and the Over 40's face St Allys for a place in the final of the Over 40s Cup. The 2nds are in league action.

The firsts, having received a bye in the first round, host Old English in the Senior Shield. Old English are in the third division, but are certainly of a higher quality than that, having dropped just 2 points in 14 games. Old English thrashed Coeur's third team 7-0 a few weeks back so Phil's side will be looking to restore some club pride. Kick off at 2pm.

The second team are back in action after an eternity out. They last played before Christmas against Alumni at Jericho Lane. This week they travel to the same venue to face high flying Roby College. Last week Roby won in the LCFA Intermediate Cup to move into the semi finals, whilst Coeur enjoyed warm weather training in Dubai* Kick off at 2:30pm

The thirds travel to Maghull to face Richmond in the inaugural match of the Emrys Hughes Trophy. The 2 sides met in the league back in November when Coeur threw away a 2-0 half time lead and ended up losing 4-2. Richmond lie fifth in the table, while Coeur are in 10th. A win for Coeur provide them with a much needed confidence boost. The match kicks off at 2:00pm.

Coeur host NAC Vets at Buckley Hill looking to advance into the Semi Finals of the Veterans Cup. The sides had a couple of epic matches last season including a 6-5 win for Coeur in the league and an Extra time victory for the NAC in the cup. Last time out, Coeur won convincingly, 6-1, over FC Hightown and NAC edged past Old Xavs 3-2 in the cup. The match kicks off at 2:00pm.

The over 40's travel to Huyton to face St Ally's 40s in the Semi Final of the Over 40s Cup. This is the biggest game of the season so far for Deano's men. The 2 sides met in October with St Ally's running out 5-2 winners in a game that was closer than the scoreline suggested. Coeur lost by a solitary goal last weekend against Bleak whilst St Ally's drew 1-1 with Midden. The match kicks off at 2:00pm.
