It is with deepest regret that I post this on here.
Ritchie McGrath passed away last week.
I'm not sure of the details but will let people know when I find out.
His funeral is to be held on Friday 7th January, 2.30pm at Southport Crematorium.
Ritchie played in Goal for Sacre Coeur in the early days for a good number of years and was well known with the lads that were around at the time and was a very likeable lad.
He was affectionately known as Ritchie McGoo.

Was told about this the other day, such a sad loss, gentle giant!

Unbelieveably sad news. A great lad. I would have attended his funeral if I had heard earlier.
Can I suggest that we ask for a minutes silence before our games if possible tomorrow.

That'd be a nice touch Flan, hope the ref's and other teams agree.
