Sadly more horrific injury news to report, as Paul Carragher suffered a badly broken leg in tonight's abandoned match vs South Sefton.

We have yet to receive details over the extent of the injury, but those at the game stated that it was a bad break, from a seemingly innocuous challenge.

Terrible news, and all at the club wish Paul well and hope the injury isnt as bad as feared.

Si, on behalf of everyone at the club.

I'd like to add to what Si has said and offer my thoughts to Paul.

Also, a big thanks to the South Sefton Borough players who helped Paul on the pitch while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Many thanks on behalf of the Club.

I have had a number of emails from members of the management committee offering thier sympathy and best wishes for a speedy recovery and hopeful return to action.
South Sefton, Roma and Warbreck have all offered support when we have the fund raiser so when I get back I will sort that with them.
