Sacre Coeur 6 v 3 Collegiate

Sacre Coeur had 10 players and utilised a Collegiate sub to make up the numbers.
I arrived late and the Coeur were already 2 up, Craig Burns scoring a screamer apparently.
Mally Harper then jinked passed a couple of players in the middle and placed a shot passed the keeper into the top corner 3-0. (Was that really Mally).
Collegiate pulled one back with a header from a corner. 3-1.
Half Time 3-1

With the introduction of the youngest player to play for Sacre Coeur at centre half they were back to full strength.
Collegiate scored another 3-2.
A fourth Coeur goal followed before Collegiate struck again. 4-3.
Chris Trow then scored a beauty from the edge of the box to make it 5-3.
The 'young' centre half made a few timely tackles before going up for a corner and 'heading' home to become the youngest player to score for the Coeur. 6-3.

A good run out for the lads that showed and with the 'missing' players returning should form a good squad this year.

* The 'young player' was Chris Doyle

At last I have found wi-fi. Excellent win with a scratch side.
Let's hope it continues with a fuller compliment of players, this Saturday.
