Hello generous people  ;-)
As per the subject line I am playing football, but this time with a real meaning behind it.
I am hoping to raise as much as possible for 'Cancer research UK' and all coins and notes help.
It is taking place this Sunday (27th July) at The OC Club, Bridle Road, Eastham.,53.322645,-2.975702&saddr=liverpool+road+L23&daddr=53.322645,-2.975702&sll=53.39815,-2.982105&sspn=0.289865,0.773163&doflg=ptm&ie=UTF8&ll=53.405029,-2.997894&spn=0.289818,0.773163&z=11 - Here are directions from the school in crosby
By luck, Matchday Magazine got wind of this event and it has snowballed since then and it has been advertised on Buzz FM constantly over the last few days.
The juniors game kick-off @ 11.30.  Liverpool & Everton Fans (that's us) kick-off @ 1.30 and will be commentated by Radio 5 Live.
Star guests include Ian Rush, Peter Reid and Phil Jagielka, so come along and get your autographs for you and your children.
Promoted and sponsored by Matchday Magazine, Wirral's Buzz97.1 and The Wirral Globe.
Various games like Raffles, Beat the keeper, Speed Ball, Bouncy Castles.
Beers Tents and a BBQ available.
Loads of prizes to be won, such as signed shirts, signed photos.
There is also going to be some stalls from football companies promoting themselves such as Wirral's Soccer Dome.
Please follow this link to see a draft of the advert that was in the Wirral globe this week
Thanks to you all in advance for supporting me in this.

Please pass this message onto anyone you know who may wish to sponsor me  ;-)

Sorry Si, I only know one of the Red fans through work.  I don't know anyone else in either team.  I trained with them last night for the first time and there are some good lads playing, but it's only a similar standard to what I am used to.
Dig deep  ;-)
