I have just been having a quick nose at what we have collected this season and what we have spent.

It appears that it will cost the club £5345.00 (or there about) for the four sides to play this season. This includes pitch fees, league and county affiliations, referee's fees and getting the kit washed.

This is quite a substantial amount of money and if before we spend any money on balls, nets, barriers, etc (you get my drift).

Come the start of next season, we will be expected to pay at least £2500 in pitch fees and league fees. It would be nice if we could have a couple of well supported social events that enabled us to rake in enough cash to meet this £2500 target before the start of next season.

Let's hear your ideas with regards to getting this cash raised.

I reckon a good karaoke night would go down well (but Liam would have to let other people play too!!!!)
Charge for tickets say £5 each and run spot the balls, or charge £20 per ticket and get an all you can drink thrown into the equation!

Another possible option is a 'Wii' competition.
Could be one of a number of games, eg tennis, golf, footy etc.
Make it a fiver to enter with cash prizes.

Any thoughts?

question of sport sounds good maybe get a few raffles going aswell, and charging for a ticket makes sense as it will be a profit in itself.

had a feeling someone would mention a free bar ha! Thumbs%20Up
