Sacre Coeur 2v1 Albany

Albany, previously unbeaten after winning their previous seven league games faced the mighty Coeur.

Coeur started brightly and pushed Albany from the off kicking with the wind in the first half.
Chances were few and far between but most of the possession was Coeur's.
Five minutes before half time and a thunderous arrow-like free kick from Robin Miles put Coeur one nil up.

HT 1-0

Albany equalised with an excellent free-kick just after the restart. The ball finding itself in the proverbial 'top corner'. 1-1.

Sacre Coeur pushed hard for the winner and were guilty of a couple of missed chances to wrap the game up.

About 15 minuted to go and a galloping run down the left from Player Manager Mick Carragher saw him loop a cross high into the box for the onrushing 'salmon-like' Ginger to nod home. 2-1.

Tempers got a little frayed with 5 minutes to go but it was still Sacre Coeur who pushed for more goals towards the end.

An excellent victory. Clap
