Fantastic win lads beating NELTC on pens despite TBob taking an early bath after an hour.

And the news gets better as Bankfield and Leyfield drew 1-1 in the league.
However Essemmay did scrape a 2-1 win over Lydiate Weld.

and Blueline drew with Rockville LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

Let's not under estimate the enormity of this win. Clap
Sacre Coeur playing in the 2nd Division beating NELTC fifth in the Premier Division.

NELTC have beaten Waterloo Dock (1st Prem), South Liverpool (3rd Prem) and Red Rum (4th Prem) this season.

Beating them on penalities was a joy to watch, and to be fair it was NELTC that actually hung on for penalties (and we played with ten men for the last 42 minutes of the game - over zealous refereeing in my opinion - Prem ref being assessed). If it wasn't for the fact that our finishing wasn't as clinical as it should have been we could have won 3 or 4 nil.

The back four were absolutely OUTSTANDING today. StarStarStarStar - in fact they have only conceded 7 goals in the league so far.

Not sure who we've got next in the quarters but it's one of East Villa, Ford or South Liverpool - so if we are going to win it we are definately going to have to do it the hard way. Smile

....... and Speke (who we dispatched in the last round) beat East Villa (2nd Prem) last week in the Prem Cup.

So the Quarter Final lines up as:

Birchfield (9th - Prem Div) v Collegiate (15th - Prem Div)
Old Xaverians (10th - Prem Div) v Aigburth PH (3rd - 1st Div)
Sacre Coeur (4th - 2nd Div) v Ford Motors (8th - Prem Div) - Not sure who's Home or Away
East Villa (2nd - Prem Div) v South Liverpool (3rd - Prem Div) - Not sure who's Home or Away

Could do with the winners of Old Xavs/ Aigburth in the Semis Thumbs%20Up

Could this emulate the 1995/96 season when Sacre Coeur (residing in the 2nd Division I Zingari) played East Villa (I Zingari Premier Division) played in the Final of the I Zingari Challenge Cup. Ermm

Thats not a bad draw I don't think!!!!!
Better than drawing East Villa, Birchifield or South Liverpool.
What a weekend in terms of league results as well, Bankfield are buckling under the pressure me thinks!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON THE COEUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s Hello Everyone, went snorkling yesterday afternoon whilst having a bevy on a speedboat in the sea x

i ment that the back 5 have only let 7 in this season nothing 2 do with the performance of myself in saturdays cup tie, as my kicking was the same as a 5 year old girl in the 1st half.
