We have been offered the opportunity to play the Bootech match this weekend (8th April).

I propose that we then go out on the piss on Saturday night after the game. (I know you will have to rearrange your pass out Andy)

Anyone got any major objections to this?

If so let me know ASAP.

Me, Alan, and Rob Phil and Pablo (maybe Mick Carr aswell?) are all at the races on Friday and then of into town afterwards meaning that I for one will be w**kered on the Saturday!

and in no fit state to play football.....yes even worse than usual before you start!

I think the week after would remain a safer bet

i know i am not playing.. but if alsop are playing on Tuesday night I think their result will make the decision a little bit easier.  Given what Gav has said I think we need to stall until at least Wednesday if things go in our favour its all a technicality, but I for one would not want them to do the double over us, it would sour the end to the season. We need as strong a team as possible, but lets face it Gav you lot play half cut nearly every week anyway

My view is that let's not put any undue pressure on ourselves unless we have to. Leave the fixture at the 22nd and see if anything goes in our favour from the Alsop games. If not then we know where we stand. And anyway it'll make the season last longer.

I would prefer the 22nd. Not for any footballing reasons but my other night out of 2006 is a charity ball this saturday.

Plus Paul is right (I believe this can happen with Alzhiemer Victims) lets wait and see what Alsop can do.

"Tell him to go away or I'll kill him!"
"Goals pay the rent!!"

So, are we playing 5-a-side against Bootech or leaving it till the 22nd?

I think now it appears that the 22nd is the best option (sorry Dave). It will give us the chance to see Alsop's other results plus we have a better chance of getting the whole side to turn up sober and focused on winning the title.

Now that the title is in the bag, I can be rested for other members of our squad to show what they can do

This also gives me the chance to play in the veterans weekend in Leeds that I have paid loads of money for already!

The only thing is, I'll miss the night out, so make sure you all have a drink for me!!!

See you all at the presentation night when we lift our title winning trophy!!!!
