With everyone playing away this coming saturday can't we be moved to the Civil Service? Nice pitch to play on against top of the league.

I can ask tomorrow night at training, however just have a look at our record this season:

Games at Buckley:                 Played 5, Won 5, Scored 19, Conceded 3
Games away from Buckley:    Played 3, Won 1, Scored 6, Conceded 5

What do you reckon Buckley or Civil?

typical team spaz - its all about image, all fur coat and no knickers!

Just like them noncy boots you wear. As far as I am concerned I am happy to play anywhere. When you reach my level of technical ability you can adapt to play on any surface. More importantly I think I can kick the ball higher at buckley hill!Big%20smile

Thanks to our cricket playing Ali G (nice picture in the club by the way).
I found out tonight (after the above debate, Chris) that Alumni won in the LCFA cup and therefore are playing this weekend in the next round, hence our game is postponed.

Next match 18th November vs Mossley Hill.

It looks like Alumni want to play us as much as we want to play them.
Here is an email from their secretary Jon Cockrell:

Si

We won our game in the county cup 3-2 in a close game so unfortunately we won't be able to play you next weekend. It is a shame because I was looking forward to meeting you guys.

We have been keen followers of your season through your website and you seem to want to play the game in the same way as we do.I have to admit we have no idea of how to stop Mick Kennedy!

I was also sad to hear about your game against de la salle. I wonder whether you will be awarded the game. I hope so, the more teams from the second division that progress the better.

Thanks for the email, look forward to our game. Good luck until then.

Jon
