For a second week in succession Coeur lined up against Kingsford in the league. Last week had seen Coeur record a 3-0 victory but were looking to improve on that performance and result.
Mully's thumb had recovered enough to take his place between the sticks again. The back four of Matty, Jacko, Mike and Rob Phil sat behind Ian, Darren and Jack. With Josh flanked by Mick Taylor and Jack Kelly. On the bench were Jake, Andy and Si, still bathing in the glory of last weeks goal.
The first half saw Coeur dominating in possession, despite the young in the centre for Kingsford offering more composure on the ball than last weeks encumbant of that role.
Two goals in the first 20 minutes from Josh allowed Coeur a sembelance of comfort. Approaching half time a fantastic move involving 15 or 20 passes culminated in Jack Kelly flicking a lovely through ball into the path of Josh who made no mistake in completing his hat-trick

The second half saw Coeur continue to dominate, with the midfield creating plenty of chances for the lads up front. Josh wrapped the game up as he hammered home his and Coeur's fourth goal. There was still time for more as the three lads were introduced from the bench. Jake made an instant impact scoring with a deft finish. In fact he could have grabbed a second but his next effort was somewhat wayward.
Si almost made it 6 as he drilled a low left footer in from 20 yards, only to see it spectacularly turned away at the last minute by the ginger cat, much to the dismay of the watching Rob Hatton who had already started celebrating at the side of the pitch.
A solid performance in which Coeur outclassed a willing Kingsford side. Another 3 points in the bag, but Coeur are still in second as Old Cats made it 5 wins out of 5.
