1st victory of the league finally arrived and fine displays all over meant it was comfortable in the end.

We made a good start, back to people wanting the ball and passing it well with good link up play and creating a few chances.  Whilst we were playing the nicer stuff, Waterloo did threaten with pacy frontmen getting behind us on occasion but thanks to some sloppy finishing and Neil strong in goal, our net remained intact.

The first goal came from a corner, nicely drilled in by Carl and met well by Robbie with a header, the ball fell to Jay who looped it in through a crowd of players.  Carl bagged the 2nd after picking up a pass from the left, driving into the area and calmly passing it past the keeper.

Waterloo grabbed one back following a quick break from our corner.  Robbie got caught in possession on the edge of their box and a long ball found the right winger who outpaced Rocky and drilled a fine effort in to make it 2-1 at half time.

Despite going in ahead we knew we could play better and we did that in the 2nd half.  With 30 minutes to go I came off off to give Joe a first run out at Centre Half and he settled in well and a few minutes later Sean came on at left mid, pushing Jay Boardman up front.

Jay grabbed his 2nd from about 12 inches out after good work down the right by Carl and with the Waterloo goalie stranded at the near post, Jay couldn't and didn't miss at the back post.

Andy grabbed a deseved goal after beating the keeper to the ball on the edge of the box, nodding it past him and strolling forwards, blasting it in on the line.  There were more chances to increase the goal difference but we can't be unhappy with a 4-1 victory and a good performance.  Well done all.
