Once again Sacre Coeur had to take the field without a regular keeper, but battled well and for the opening half more than held their own. However, as the game wore on De La Salle began to press and twice struck the woodwork as Coeur began to struggle. Right on half-time the inevitable happened and the visitors eook the lead.
A goal early in the second half made for more problems, then a blatant push in the penalty area gave De La Salle a more comfortable three goal advantage and a fourth settled any doubts. To their credit Coeur battled well at the end and showed agreat deal of spirit not to concede any further goals.
At the back Jake Wilson was outstanding, well supported by Dave Smith and Peter Riley.
