Another struggle for players saw Coeur only able to populate the bench with Si. To add to their woes, Degsi managed to turn up at five past kick off after a brain fart had seen him get the times wrong.
So with the bare eleven Coeur had to player several players out of position. Rob Hatton played at centre half, while the midfield duo of Degsi and Mick Taylor had to occupy the full back berths. Coeur opted for 5 in midfield with Ryan coming in for his first start of the season to play in the centre with Mike and Martin. Ste and Dave were wide, with Jamie up front on his own.
With so many players playing out of position and Coeur being in a poor vein of form, this was going to be a difficult match. Liobians were still suffering a sense of injustice after last week's result and demonstrated this from the start.
The first half produced very few chances, with Jamie firing Coeur's best chance just wide of the upright. Liobians also produced few clear cut chances, though Ryan managed to block three attempts within the space of 5 seconds, a stunning effort from him.

The second half saw Liobians introduce a giant from the bench. He had a look of Jan Koller, but also had a ridiculous turn of pace, considering the size of him. He produced some awkward moments for Coeur and would have scored with a header, had it not been for a brilliant save from the cat.
Coeur also went close on a couple of occasions, with Rob Hatton and Ryan both firing just over the bar. Liobians were twice denied goals by the referees whistle as he firstly ruled a shot had not crossed the line, though it appeared to be the wrong decision. After annoying Liobians with that decision, he followed it up by incorrectly ruling another goal out for offside.
Sandwiched between these two efforts Mike struck the bar from 35 yards after a tricky run had created an opening for the shot. Unlucky big man!
The big galoot in the centre of midfield was singling Dave Sutton out for some rough treatment, both verbally and physically, but met his match when he went to crunch Rob Hatton. Rob steamrollered him and ran right over the top of him, before playing the pass then turning back to the the lad 'Get up you big dope!'.
It was Dave who actually got the last laugh as he volleyed home brilliantly with his left foot, before dedicating his goal to their midfielder.
Another dodgy performance, and a fortunate result, given the poor decisions by the ref. Saying that, with a scratch side and starting the game with just 10 men, Coeur had made the best of a poor day at the office.
