More messing about prior to kick off, but eventually game began with Derrick Burns in goal.
Sacre Coeur dominated early exchanges but had to wait half an hour before taking the lead thanks to Chrissy Whelan.
In the second half Rob Hatton scored two further goals which reflected Sacre Coeur's superiority. Mike Lynch and Liam McIlvenna might have addewd to the lead but having hit the woodwork twice suddenly Cavaliers came back with two goals in five minutes. Fortunately Andy Howard and Paul Jackson held things together at the back and the persistence of Martin Wilson and Chrissy Whelan enabled Coeur to hang on to what was now a slender lead. Hatton should have added a third but dragged his shot across goal and Cavaliers' keeper denied further scores.
Many thanks to Derrick Burns who acted as a very effective keeper in the absence of regular players.
