In a game when we wanted to get back on track after drawing last week, I was proud of everyone for working hard for one another and giving that extra 10 % on a pitch I can only describe as shite.

We had early chances and kept trying to play through Fran and Chris while Peter and Dave worked hard in the middle winning some great headers. Danny had a couple of half chances none more than a rebound from an excellent shot by Dave on the edge of the box which the keeper spilled, Danny ran onto it but the keeper did well to spread himself and block Dannys shot. The next chance came as Danny was clearly fouled on the end of the box but the ref decided the foul was outside giving a free kick, Danny stepped up but only managed to hit the wall. In awful conditions we kept trying to play and had some lovely moves, Sean and Martin kept makng themselves available and put some nice balls in.

The break through came as a free kick was given on the right handside of the box after some persistant work by Chris and Danny, an early cross was put in and it was going out of play and Peter did great to keep it alive and played it back into the six yard box for Danny who finished past the stranded keeper.

The second goal came as a result of a pen, a ball crossed from the right Fran got it under control but was taken from behind (Karl was well jealous) the ref blew for the foul and went to give a free kick on the edge of the box again, and when he went over realised Fran had been fouled a good foot inside the box, fair play to the ref who took his time and give the pen, Danny dispatched it easily pasted the BS keepers right. Confidence crept more and more into our game and just on half time Danny completed his hatrick, a header won by Dave fell between Peter and a BS player, Peter did great to get to it and lift a lovely ball into the path of Danny who lobbed the stranded BS keeper right on the stroke of half time.

Half time 0 - 3

We started the second half with a nice move which come to nothing but BS broke quickly from the keeper and got a shot off which Neil did great to save and put out for a corner, with in the first few minutes of the second half BS best player escaped his marker and got  a good header which flew past the stranded Neil.

Our confidence was still good and we continued to play, the next goal was always going to be crucial and it deservedly fell to us, a ball down the left wing bounced on the line and stayed in play much to the annoyance of the BS players who dared to call Karl a cheat when we all know he is a quilt. Danny brought the ball in from the left and round two BS defenders then the keeper, he did the same in the first half only to be tackled at the last minute, this time he managed to get his shot off and dispatch between the 2 BS defenders who had got back on the line.

Subs were made, Karl come on for Dave like for like position and Tal replaced Martin, Tal went to right mid, Chris went CB and Gary RB.

We controlled the game well and it was never in doubt at this point, the fifth and final goal was a typical Danny special, he got the ball on the right handside of the BS box before rounding 2 BS defenders composed himself and finishing neatly past the keeper int eh bottom leaft hand corner. This took Dannys total to 47 goals in 16 games, unreal, well done Danny beating the all time Scare Couer record.

The rest of the game was seen out easily with some half chances none more than Peters header which the keeper saved stopping Peters desperate attempt to score 2 goals as he had bet me if he did he didnt have to pay his subs, unfortunately for Peter the forfeit of not scoring 2 goals was to clean the kit and with the pitch being the muddest in the history of muddy pictures...Unlucky Pete ho ho!

Well done boys proudest I have ever been of everyone today, best team and group of lads i have had the fortune to play with, lets keep going 4 games to go and in our hands excellent!!!!
