With several contenders for MOM this week in particular Danny with 5 goals and Rob Cav putting in a superb captains display in the middle, I have given it to HD due to scoring 2 goals as well as another solid hard working performance well done HD I think

Another win for the Couer today to keep the title push going, in what I would describe as the most controlled game so far of the season. With everyone putting a decent shift in their was only going to be one winner in this affair.

Like last week Couer started well putting Rockville under pressure which it was obvious from the start they didnt like and gave the ball away very easily.

Chri,s Fran and Dave supported Danny well some early chances caused Rockville to sit deep which they did for most of the game. The opening goal came through some nice footwork by Danny who came in on the left beating a few people before hitting it hard and low across the face of the box, the ball fell to Lawless on the right hand side of the box who many thought was going to shoot but he made a cross look like a shot (honest) which fell into the path of HD who tapped into an empty net as the keeper was stranded.

With score still tight a Rockville corner caused some confusion and with me and Paddy trying to clear the ball it hit my hand and as Rockville shouted for a penalty another Rockville player got a header towards goal which was looping in before Neil did unbelievably to get back and tip it over the bar, a really good save, and probably the only one he really had to make all game but good keepers can do nothing for 89 minutes and need to concentrate for one, that was Neils and he did great when called upon.

The secondgoal was from more pressure by the Couer as the team from the back four through the middle played some nice keep ball without being too cutting but still nice to see, Tal got the ball at left back and played a sweet ball between the Rockville right back and centre back which Danny ran onto, and chipped delightfully over the Rockville keeper.

Couer pressed well for the rest of the game unable to extend the lead but some nice football gave the team confidence that this could be a rout if they stuck to their jobs. It wouldnt be fair not to mention some nice play in the box led to Lawless laying a nice ball back to me to cross into the box for me to sky it over the bar like a bell, all I can say is the pitch wasnt as smooth as Buckley Hill it took me 89 minutes to get used to it.

Second half started like the first for Couer with us pressing them and making them make mistakes, however with the team smelling blood more pushed forward but unable to score for a bit, but some nice balls over the top to Pimbley in the first half by Hurst his  confidence came back and he played a nice one two with Danny allowing him to run onto the lay back and have a shot / clearance ( Rockville have charged me for the price of the ball as it was never found, but good move none the less).

The third goal came from HD again Hurst played a nice ball to LAWLESS down the right into the box who did well to control it and cross low into handful of players which HD had two swipes at it before dispatching past the Rockville keeper at close range.

With Rockville starting to fall apart, Brannigan replaced Tal at left back with both players having to shake off recent injuries it was nice to see them both back. Up stepped Danny who had been leading the line well but unable until 25 minutes to go to convert many of the chances. His second goal came from a lovely ball from Franster who jinked between a few Rockville players before a pinpoint chip down the middle which Danny controlled and side footed nicely past the Rockville keeper.

Rockville imploded as the Couer didnt give up with a four nil lead Danny added a fifth and for the life of me I cant remember the goal, His sixth came as he cut in from the left and finished in the near post. With Couer winning six nil everyone wanted to beat the third teams score from the previous week which was also 6 - 0 and with 5 minutes to go Franster cut in from the left inside the box and beat a man before being clattered by a Rockville player but managed to stay on his feet, the ref looked to play advantage before Danny smelt a pen and pushed into Frantser causing him to fall and the referee gave the pen. And with a shout of "MAKERS TAKE IT" by the Franster, Danny ignored him and with the record to beat took the ball and dispatched it.

Throughout the game their were countless chances and near misses which I can hardly remember most some being , LAWLESS' in the first half in which he controlled well ran through the middle but hit with his left and it flew wide, HD's and Rob Cavs long shots in the second half  which were close and good efforts. The biggest near miss being Paddys jelly induced lob on which was back after a night in town goosing, He got very close to the Rockville centre forward but it managed to go before any Rockville player got to close to him,Im also pleased to hear the girls are getting older rather than younger as any younger I might have had to had a word. If I havent mentioned one of your own lads im sorry too many to remember and the ale kicking in now as I write this.

Another good win and never easy when you play bottom of the league as they have nothing to lose, 12 games down and still going strong well done evryone today as you can see by the scores out of ten I thought everyone did great as well as some nice football!!!!!
