A good solid performance at left back as the rest the of the team slightly below par, went to left midfield and should have scored, with some good efforts

First defeat of the season dissappointing as we had the team to do a job, but like last week went a goal down, a a mistake by the right back which led to their number 10 running through one on one with the keeper which he slotted near post as the keeper dived the other way. An equaliser by Couer came through the unlikely source of Darren Hoare, a shot from outside the box through a group of players after a cross was cleared seemed to give team lift and some nice football was played until half time. Unfortunately after half time the team started slow and started to bicker resulting a family feud on the pitch between Bourne and McKeown, heads dropped and Old Caths scored 2 goals within ten minutes of each other which ultimately sealed the game.Darren Hoare went off for McMillan dropping Lawless into centre midfield, Bourne went left back, with Brannigan and Halyes taking on the wings, this seemed to lift the team a little and some nice football was played but unfortunately no goals came, Brannigan hit the post, also went round the keeper but couldnt lick the ball into the net and was unable head a close range effort in. However a good performance by Brannigan earning him MOM. On another day the score could have been 5 -5, still a good start and lets see what we can do from here.
